This e-learning tool has been developed jointly by Teaching Public Health Network, Wolverhampton University and six pilot sites. The training programme is targeted at training healthy weight advisors. It aims to help them work with pregnant women during pregnancy and in the early years of the child's life around choices being made around diet, exercise and breastfeeding.

This original teaching and learning resource pack for Breastfeeding Peer Support has been adapted for the Department of HealthWest Midlands with kind permission from NHSWalsall Community Health. NHS Dudley have led on revisions to the 2010 version. It is intended to be utilised as a teaching and learning tool for breastfeeding peer support initiatives across the West Midlands.
